- In some cases, the additional weight of CNG tank may affect the suspension of vehicles.
- CNG is increasingly popular in Nigeria, refueling infrastructure at the moment is insufficient and far from what it should be. That means, users might need to travel some distance to refuel their vehicles.
- Conversion of vehicles to CNG might incur a high initial cost. Although, there are several ongoing initiatives by government to bring down the cost of conversion.
